Bloomberg New Energy Finance reports clean energy investments in the second quarter of 2012 were up 24% over the first quarter with investments totalling $59.6 billion. However, weren't quite as high as second quarter 2011 which saw $72.5 billion in investments.
China was the largest investor, spending $18.3 billion between April and June, which was 92% more than it had spent during the first quarter.
Investments during the second quarter included both large- and small-scale projects.
