Medium and heavy truck sales were up 13% in June compared to 2011, and up 23% for the year to date.
Class 8 trucks were up 19% from 2011, as were Class 7 truck sales. So far 279,340 trucks have been sold in 2012 with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 10,000 lbs., which was 23% more than in 2010.
The biggest increase in sales has been for Class 5 trucks, while Class 4 and Class 6 trucks have both decreased in sales.
