August sales of medium- and heavy-duty trucks were 4% higher compared with sales at the same time last year. However, sales were 3% lower than July of this year.
Class 8 truck sales were down 7% compared to August 2012 while Class 7 sales were 6% higher than this same time last year.
For the year to date overall truck sales are up 12% compared to 2012.
