Iowa Mold Tooling Co. Inc. (IMT), an Oshkosh Corp. company, is excited to celebrate its 50th anniversary at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011, March 22 – 26 in Las Vegas. As part of the celebration, IMT will unveil innovative new products developed to meet ever-increasing customer needs.

IMT was founded in 1961 as a business creating new tread designs for recapping tires. Over the past half-century, the company has evolved into a leading manufacturer and supplier of service vehicles, truck-mounted cranes and air compressors. IMT designs and manufactures equipment that serves building supply, construction, tire service, public works, mining, railroad, rental and propane markets around the world.

“We look forward to commemorating 50 years of commitment to the industry at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011,” says Steve Fairbanks, IMT president. “IMT achieved longevity by putting customers first and providing reliable, long-lasting equipment. And we will use that formula to continue setting a standard of excellence in the years to come.”

The products that IMT presents at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011 will expand and enhance a lineup with a reputation for quality, value and performance.

IMT service vehicles are designed to fully integrate material handling systems, air compressors and lubrication systems, ensuring compatibility between components. The company’s service-vehicle line includes the Dominator crane body, propane body and Contractor Series mechanics trucks, the SiteStar mobile lubrication trucks and TireHandler products. TireHandler products include the Predator, which is designed to handle truck and medium-size off-road tires, and the Commander, meant for larger off-road tires.

In addition to service vehicles, IMT designs and manufactures truck-mounted articulating cranes, hydraulic loaders, telescopic cranes, SiteStar lube skids, air compressors, a compressor/welder/generator unit, and crane- and carrier-mounted TireHands. IMT also offers ValuePlus Fleet Management software to assist in tracking assets.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Oshkosh Corp. Co. since 2006, IMT operates out of facilities in Garner, IA, and McIntire, IA.

“I would like to congratulate IMT on 50 years of dedicated industry service,” says Frank Nerenhausen, Oshkosh Corp. executive vice president and president of the Commercial Group that includes IMT. “IMT is a valued member of the Oshkosh Corp. Commercial Group.”
