Altair ProductDesign Unveils First Series Hydraulic Hybrid Transit Bus

Altair ProductDesign recently introduced the world's first hydraulic hybrid transit bus. Known as the LCO-140H, or Low-Cost of Ownership-1st 40-foot Hybrid, the bus provides 110% better fuel economy than diesel buses and 30% better than other diesel-electric hybrid buses. 

The company designed the bus as part of the BUSolutions program, which works to revitalize public bus transportation in America.
