DOE Hosting Webinar on Energy Topics for Small Business Funding

The U.S. Department of Energy will be hosting a webinar on March 19 to provide information on energy R&D topics for small business funding.

On March 19, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will host a webinar about energy efficiency and renewable energy research and development topics for small businesses who may be interested in an upcoming funding opportunity from the DOE.

The webinar will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Eastern on Monday, March 19.

Proposed energy topics that will be included in the 2012 Phase 1 funding from the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs will be the focus of the webinar.

SBIR and STTR provide funding for competitions among small businesses in an effort to help bring innovative new technologies to the commercial market.

Various program specialists will be on hand during the webinar to answer questions submitted ahead of time by participants.
