Applications for renewable energy and energy efficiency technology small businesses to present at the Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory's (NREL) Industry Growth Forum are due Friday, July 20. The forum is set to take place October 23 to 24, 2012 in Denver, CO.
Of the applications submitted 30 companies will selected to present at the Industry Growth Forum, as well as compete for the Clean Energy Venture Award and commercialization services from NREL.
The forum is designed to provide a venue for growing companies to prepare, refine and present their businesses to various investors.
Applications not accepted to present also receive benefits:
- exposure to the over 120 North American investors who review the applications
- feedback from the investor reviewers
- the chance to learn from investment pitches presented by other companies
