The Energy Department will present a live webcast titled "What We Can Learn from the Hydrogen Safety Events Database" on Tuesday, September 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Held in conjunction with the 5th International Conference on Hydrogen Safety, the webinar will include an overview of Europe's Hydrogen Incident and Accident Database and the United States' Hydrogen Incident Reporting and Lessons Learned Database. The webinar will introduce these databases, explore their features, and illustrate how they are being integrated and used to engage, educate, and inform various stakeholders.

September 10: Live Webcast on Clean Energy Advances

The Energy Department, in partnership with the Battelle Commercialization Council, will present a live webcast titled "Accelerating Innovation: Energy Systems Advances" on Tuesday, September 10, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. This webcast will highlight several National Renewable Energy Laboratory technologies, including white light LEDs, energy systems integration, and the R&D 100 Award-winning image processing occupancy sensor. These technologies can also be viewed online at EERE's Innovation Portal. Following the presentations, attendees will be invited to participate in a live question-and-answer session with the researchers.

September 12: Live Webinar on Fuel Cell Buses

The Energy Department will present a live webcast titled "Fuel Cell Buses" on Thursday, September 12, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. On behalf of the Federal Transportation Administration's National Fuel Cell Bus Program, the Center for Transportation and the Environment will present on worldwide fuel cell bus activities, highlighting key strategies and partnerships and how these are shaping the future of fuel cell bus deployment. The webinar will be followed by a presentation from the California Fuel Cell Partnership on its California Fuel Cell Bus Roadmap, providing a strategy and funding approach to move fuel cell bus technology from the current stage of full-scale validation to early commercialization.
