APEM Inc. announces the XF Series, a ruggedized finger operated joystick controller specifically engineered for vehicle applications.

  • Designed per ISO 25197 standard
  • Rated to withstand 80 lbs.-ft. (108.5 Nm) pull force across X/Y axis and over 5 Nm (3.7 ft.-lbs.) torque in Z axis    
  • Utilizes contactless Hall effect sensing to provide long life proportional control for over five million lifecycles
  • Available with up to three proportional axis and two momentary pushbuttons
  • Carries IP67 above panel sealing rating
  • Shallow mounting of 26 mm (1 in.) below panel
  • Requires minimal console space
  • Suits vehicle applications where ergonomics and operator comfort are paramount 
  • Can be specified with CANbus J1939, CANbus J1939-71, or CANopen outputs
  • Accommodates supply voltage ranging from 6-35V DC
  • Operates between -40 and 85 C (-40-185 F)
  • Qualified per EMC Standards, EN61000-6-3:200, EN61000-4-3 Extended and ESD: EN61000-4-2 Extended
