Representatives of EAO, the expert partner for innovative, intuitive and reliable Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), recently traveled to Las Vegas for CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017, a 2.5 million sq. ft. conference that featured representatives of every major construction industry. With more than 2,500 exhibitors and 150 educational seminars, EAO had immediate access to some of the most sophisticated technology in the world.

“As a global HMI supplier, conferences such as CONEXPO are vital resources in our quest to remain at the forefront of interface technology and design,” says John J. Pannone, Vice President of HMI Systems, EAO Corporation North America. “This event highlighted an industry shift towards the valuing of ergonomics to positively impact end user functionality and intuitiveness.”

Current HMI systems are elegant in design and cater to the minute details that enable extreme precision. HMI designers within the industry are integrating additional technologies to enhance the user experience such as intuitive touchscreens and GPS devices.

“After our time at CONEXPO, I feel we now have reinforced our core HMI Systems philosophies to understand the application and user environment in order to ensure that every aspect of our HMI systems work to improve performance and end user efficiencies,” adds Pannone.
