Sy-Klone Demonstrates Cab Filtration Technologies at MINExpo 2016

Sy-Klone International presented a wealth of knowledge to attendees about superior cab filtration and meeting the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) deadline for Respirable Crystalline Silica Rule at MINExpo 2016 in Las Vegas.

Featured in the 20 x 20 booth, shared with Sy-Klone’s Canadian Distributor, Polar Mobility of Canada, was Sy-Klone’s brand new air filtration demonstration cab. This new cab allows for a complete explanation of Sy-Klone’s simple three-step solution to superior cab filtration. Beginning with clean fresh air, the RESPA-CF was utilized to show how easy it is to cost-effectively clean the air before it reaches the plenum.  This fresh air system dramatically extends filter life and reduces the frequency of costly HVAC repairs by delivering more than 100 CFM of pre-cleaned and filtered (MERV16) fresh air to the HVAC system.

Step two, presented by the Sy-Klone team, demonstrated how easy it is to clean recirculated air within the cab with the RESPA-FFX2. This product offers customizable recirculation filtration to protect cab electronics, increase operator protection, and reduce harmful particulate buildup on expensive HVAC evaporator coils.

To complete the cab filtration system, Sy-Klone presented its electronic pressure monitoring system. This easy-to-install unit gives real-time information on cab pressure, when to change filters in the RESPA system, can be connected to remote telemetry systems, and is approved by most regulatory agencies. This is an essential part of the complete RESPA Cab Air Quality System. The unit can be customized to display pressure in inches of water column or Pascal, the pressure level at which the unit alerts, and the volume of the audible alarm.

Sy-Klone was able to demonstrate this outstanding system for creating an ISEEE (International Society of Environmental Enclosure Engineers) performance level cab to hundreds of companies from all over the world and will be following up on leads generated during the three-day show. The feedback was tremendous and the team fully expects to see exponential growth in cab filtration in the immediate future.
