DLH 17004 Hydraulic Drum Service Brake

Carlisle Brake and Friction's hydraulic drum service brake uses two wheel cylinders to provide a balance of forces within the brake and maintain torque.

The Carlisle DLH17004 series brake is a hydraulically actuated, dual leading shoe drum brake. This brake is well suited for low speed, high torque service conditions.

  • Two straight bore, double acting wheel cylinders contribute to balance of forces within brake and maintain uniform torque
  • Commonly mounted on axle bolt circle
  • Includes replaceable anchor pins
  • Brake linings are 1/2 in. thick and bonded to cast shoes
  • Wheel cylinders available in 1 1/2 in., 1 3/4 in. and 1 7/8 in. sizes
  • Easily accessible manual adjusters
