Twin Disc HP1200 Hydraulically-Actuated PTO

Twin Disc announces the release of its heavy-duty power take-off (PTO), the hydraulically-actuated HP1200.

• Features maximum power rating of 1,243 hp at 1,800 rpm
• Performs in demanding work conditions
• Modular design allows for both side-load "P" and in-line "I" applications with the simple change of bearing carriers
• Advanced control system ensures smooth engagement of driven equipment is utilized
• Auxiliary drive pump towers with 400 hp maximum capacity per tower, or 550 hp maximum for both
• Rotatable by 0, 45 and 90 degrees, either clockwise or counter-clockwise, to allow for clearance in installation
• Optional speed ratios are available
• Pads and splines are easily interchangeable to accommodate varying pump size
• Sizes SAE A to E are available
• Options that can be built in individually or combined are an integrated reservoir and charge/lube pump, helping save on space and cost
• Allows for installation of charge/lube pump on a separate pad, freeing up all four auxiliary pads for customer use
• Spring applied, hydraulically released brake (SAHR) has been added as a standard feature
• Mechanical brake release allows output shaft to easily be rotated if driven equipment becomes jammed
• High-capacity brake with control logic is available as an option to slow output when driving large masses in a shorter amount of time
• Available with SAE #0 (SAE J617) input housing and 18 in. SAE 460 (SAE J620) input coupling
• SAE #1 input housing and 14 in. SAE 355 input coupling will be available at a later date
• Tower-less version is planned for a future date
