GKN Profi-line+ Wheel for Nokian CT Tires

GKN Wheels & Structures has developed a wheel for its Profi-line+ range designed specifically to suit the Nokian CT tires which were introduced to the market earlier this year.

• Features double well radius, new flange design and wider bead
• Optimized to meet very specific requirements of high load-bearing CT tires
• Loading capacity is 20% higher
• Offers five times longer lifetime than standard flotation wheel designs
• ‘Bend-over’ flanges provide improved stability and afford greater protection to tire, both during operation and tire mounting
• Available with extra connection in rim for CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System)
• Rim is 10% thinner than standard design, improving fuel consumption
• High-spot marked to ensure suitable for speeds up to 70 km/h
• Upgrading to stronger discs is available for severe and demanding applications
• Range is designed specifically for agricultural trailed and other load bearing vehicles, with wheel rim being developed to cope with increased pressures of heavier loads and sustained periods of intensive use
