Manufacturers will need to re-evaluate their tire designs to meet the unique needs of autonomous and electric vehicles.

Autonomous and electric vehicles will bring about the need to re-evaluate tire designs. In some cases there will be a greater emphasis placed on durability over handling and performance.

Smart tire solutions with advanced sensing and reporting functions will be needed, as well.

New tire and wheel designs will likely be an evolution of existing technologies which build on benefits of proven solutions.
