Founded in 1954 in Codogno, (Milan) MTA SpA is a Global Leading Company in the design and production of a wide range of electromechanical and electronic components developed in-house for world-leading car, motorcycle, truck and tractor manufacturers.
MTA Italian Headquarters is situated in Codogno. The main production is located in this plant together with the Test Facilities and the R&D Department, real pride of the company. Besides the Headquarters, MTA operates with another plant in Italy, (Rolo), dedicated to the electronic production, and with plants in Brazil, India, Poland, Slovakia, USA, China, Mexico and Morocco to assure a global presence to his customers.

With regard to the electromechanical sector, MTA designs and develops fuses, terminals, connectors, radiator caps and – more significantly – fuse-relay boxes for power distribution and vehicle electric system protection. These power boxes are manufactured using wired technology, with bus bar or PCB, and can be supplied complete with fuses or in the multi-fuse versions. Appropriate supports, connectors and terminals complete the range, so as to provide customers with a single interface for the whole system.
As far as electronics go, MTA specializes in the development and manufacture of In-Vehicle Human Machine Interface systems – such as instrument clusters and touch panels – and Electronic Control Panels designed in accordance with Safety standards as per ISO 26262 and ISO 25119. These devices are based on innovative technologies and flexible platforms, so they can be adapted to applications designed for different types of vehicles.
