The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) has revised its standard on the lighting and marking of agricultural equipment operating on a highway.
The revised standard, ANSI/ASAE S279.17, Lighting and Marking of Agricultural Equipment on Highways, adds provisions for self-leveling lamps, as well as significant updates to the Normative References.
ASABE members with standards access and those with site-license privileges can access the full-text of the standard by electronic download in about a week. Location for the download is on the ASABE online Technical Library. Others can obtain a copy for a fee directly from the library or by contacting ASABE headquarters at [email protected].
