Gates has launched next-generation technology for its ThermalPro electric water pumps (EWP) used in electric vehicle applications.

Incorporates design advancements that enable it to cover a broad range of applications from 100W up to 3 kW (4.0 hp)
Proprietary mechanical design isolates the electronics assembly from potential exposure to coolant fluids, improving pump reliability
Patent-pending technology improves motor efficiency which is critical on fully electric platforms where electric water pumps can be significant consumers of battery life
Energy efficiency, performance and reliability of the electric water pumps are well suited for demanding thermal management requirements of electrified vehicles
Available for OEM and aftermarket applications globally
