Kavlico, a global business unit of Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST), develops a sensor for urea-air dosing utilizing (AUS32) Aqueous Urea Solution 32.5% or AdBlue in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) after-treatment systems with diesel engines. The AUS32 solution is high purity urea in de-mineralized water that is clear, non-toxic, and safe to handle.
• Monitors and provides feedback to the SCR system, determines appropriate amount of AdBlue for catalytic converter module
• Ceramic capacitive sense element for pressure ranges up to 25 bar; thin film (TiON) sense element for pressure ranges above 25 bar
• Operates in temperatures from -40 to 130 C
