The Topcon Group announces Magnet cloud-based software for real-time collaboration

The Topcon Group announces a unique cloud-based enterprise solution and cloud-enabled family of software applications – Magnet – for all precise positioning projects. The software solution makes it possible for real-time collaboration between project manager, field crews, office personnel, engineers or consultants.

Magnet was unveiled at Intergeo in Nuremberg, Germany. Intergeo is the world’s largest trade show for the geodesy, geoinformation and land management industries.

Ray O’Connor, president and CEO of Topcon Positioning Systems, says, “For the first time, there’s a software solution that combines every facet of managing a company’s projects, data, and assets. The Magnet family includes four basic products: Field, Tools, Office, and Enterprise. The Field, Tools, and Office products can be purchased outright, or can simply be activated as a subscription by picking from one of the Magnet Solution packages.
