TII Group's KAMAG Wiesel, a swap body lifting truck, was on display at the VDA Innovation Stage during the IAA show.

The TII Group showcased its products on a stand at the IAA Commercial Vehicles from Thursday, September 25 to Thursday, October 2, 2014. The firm focussed on the KAMAG products Wiesel and TruckWiesel, the SCHEUERLE-NICOLAS EuroCompact and the SCHEUERLE-NICOLAS Superflex. The slight drop in visitor numbers to the IAA reported by the organizer was not in evidence here, as the TII Group Engineers and Sales Managers on site were in demand around the clock. Several Wiesel swap body lifting trucks were sold directly from the stand.

There was also a lot going on in the outside area, where the SCHEUERLE-NICOLAS EuroCompact and the SCHEUERLE-NICOLAS Superflex were on show. “Interest in our vehicles is huge; the content of most conversations with visitors goes far beyond the exhibits. Many of the visitors are interested in SCHEUERLE and NICOLAS' lightweight vehicles and the swap body truck KAMAG Wiesel in particular,” says Joachim Kolb, who is responsible for road vehicle business in TII Sales. “We offer a broad range of vehicles, enabling us to give our customers perfectly tailored advice to solve their transport problems and create a cost-efficient and flexible set-up for them,” continues Kolb. This diversity was also apparent from the products on show. Visitors could inspect a KAMAG Wiesel and TruckWiesel for terminal logistics, as well as articulated trains for heavy loads on public roads, namely the SCHEUERLE-NICOLAS EuroCompact, which customers love for its unrivalled manoeuvrability and low deadweight, and the SCHEUERLE-NICOLAS Superflex.

Many visitors watched the regular vehicle presentations on the Innovation Stage, learning how this wide-ranging know-how is put into practice for the logistics branch with Wiesel and TruckWiesel. Wiesel and TruckWiesel deliver full performance in single shift operations for handling of swap bodies under the toughest conditions and save real money in the process. The major interest in the vehicles shown by the industry professionals visiting the IAA was also due in no small part to this fact. “Our customers report on continually increasing cost pressure; at the same time, noone can cope with a vehicle breakdown nowadays,” says Jürgen Dirr, Area Manager Sales and responsible for sales of Wiesel and TruckWiesel. “That's exactly why we're the market loeader with Wiesel. It combines low operating costs with unrivalled reliability, and good news like that just spreads.”
