Kohler KDI 3404TCR SCR Engine

Kohler introduces the KDI 3404TCR SCR, a compact engine with high torque density which makes it possible to guarantee performance typical of engines with a larger displacement.

• Tier 4 Final version features maximum torque of 500 Nm (368.8 lb.-ft.)
• Stage V version provides maximum torque of 650 Nm (479.4 lb.-ft.)
• Management of exhaust gas aftertreatment system is effective and intelligent
• Features long average regeneration intervals
• Able to regenerate the DPF, mainly in passive mode, without any impact on engine performance or drivability of the machine
• Exhaust gas aftertreatment system of Stage V version is housed in single compact and easy to install module, with flexibility to customize layout according to installation on the machine 
• Stage V version provides power output of 112 kW (150.2 hp) at 1,800 rpm, allowing it to work at low rpm with significant advantages in terms of noise and consumption 
• Side power take-offs flank the main and secondary power take-offs and are designed to aid manufacturers who want to maximize installation flexibility
• Counter-rotating shafts contained in the bedplate architecture provide excellent reduction of vibrations, guaranteeing operator comfort and silent operation
• Suitable for various types of off-road applications
