Navistar Files Lawsuit Against EPA

Navistar has filed a lawsuit against the EPA, stating the agency has been preferential towards manufacturers using SCR technology.

On July 5 Navistar filed a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Navistar says the EPA has been certifying competitors' SCR-equipped engines without ensuring those emission control systems are as environmentally friendly as they claim to be.

The company also notes the EPA has been showing preferential treament to companies using the SCR technology.
