Scania has been selected as the main supplier for TLD’s ASU-600-270 Tier 4 offering. Scania delivers its 13-liter, Tier 4 Final/EU Stage IV engines to power TLD’s most popular air start unit the ASU-600-270. These Air Start Units are currently operating at airports in North America and Europe.

“The Scania 13-liter engine was an obvious choice for our Tier 4 ASU-600-270 project due to the excellent Scania technology and extensive service network. I’ve been impressed with the ‘Scania Handshake’ – a focused Scania process that ensures our customers are efficiently connected with the local Scania service team when the product is delivered. This continues TLD’s strong customer support focus,” says Peter Owitz, Chief Operating Officer, TLD Windsor Facility.

TLD, the world leader in Ground Support Equipment, has the most comprehensive worldwide network for Sales and Service. “Local Support, Total Commitment” ensures all TLD customers receive the best support in the GSE industry, from the over 40 TLD locations worldwide.

“We are very pleased to announce our partnership with a premier brand like TLD. We have worked in close cooperation with TLD during the development stage to ensure the engines meet all the demands and requirements for this project and we are looking forward to a long, successful partnership,” says Mikael Lindner, President of Scania U.S.A.
