Leading powertrain supplier FPT Industrial announces a partnership with crane technology and material handling company SENNEBOGEN Maschinenfabrik GmbH. Through the partnership, FPT Industrial will supply its market-leading N45 engines to Sennebogen’s new telescopic 16 t cranes 613 E-Series.
The N45 Tier 4 Final/Stage VI engine is part of FPT Industrial’s NEF Series, recognized for offering high-performance, reliable, cost-effective and compact solutions powering construction vehicles and machinery and power generators.
The 4.5 L, 4-cylinder in-line engine provides Sennebogen’s new telescopic E-Series crane with maximum power of 92 kW and 560 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm. It features state-of-the-art technologies, such as the latest generation common rail injection system, and is characterized by high power and high torque, especially at low rpm, ideal to increase productivity in construction applications.
Compliance with Tier 4 Final/Stage IV emissions levels is guaranteed through the use of FPT Industrial’s patented High Efficiency SCR (HI-eSCR) system. Without the need for an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) or a diesel particulate filter (DPF), it reduces emissions of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) by more than 95% through the use of SCR only.
Sennebogen’s Telescopic Crane 613 E-Series is representing the first model to be powered by FPT Industrial, and includes a newly designed cab and exterior. A wheeled version of the crane was displayed at bauma 2016 in Munich, Germany.
