Modernized engines and an adjusted design are among the new features of the innovative PROXIMA model range. The world premiere of the tractors took place in Poland on the occasion of the opening of the new registered office.
ZETOR covers the offer of tractors with power from 80-120 hp with the PROXIMA model range. This range was subject to a number of innovations, which presents the chance for customers to choose from better tractors. Three innovative models are available. The new PROXIMA CL has power from 80-100 hp and basic mechanic PowerShuttle transmission with 12+12 gears. The offer also includes a version with reduced speed transmission 20+4 or basic transmission 10+2. PROXIMA GP offers power from 80–110 hp and mechanic PowerShuttle transmission with two-stage PowerShift. PROXIMA HS has power from 80-120 hp and a transmission with three-stage PowerShift and hydraulic reverse.
The most significant innovation brought to the customers by PROXIMA tractors is engines complying with STAGE IV emissions standard. Such engines can be found in tractors with power exceeding 90 hp. PROXIMAS marked 80 have engines with STAGE IIIB. The four-cylinder ZETOR engine maintains all the features that are familiar and appreciated by the customers: simple solution for simple maintenance and low operation costs. Compliance with STAGE IV emission standard is achieved through the same system as the one introduced in the FORTERRA range. It is a combination of the technologies of DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst), active DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction). If compared to its competitors, one of the advantages of ZETOR engines is that it maintains a simple design without unnecessary electronics.
"Effectiveness is one of the basic pillars of the ZETOR brand. In the area of development, we put a great emphasis to offer to our customers as effective solution as possible. This helps them to save their time and money. According to the results of independent testing, this kind of engine offers fuel savings reaching up to 15–20%," says Robert Todt, Sales and Marketing Director.
The torque reserve in new PROXIMA tractors amounts up to 43%. The volume of urea tank amounts to 28 L. The volume of CL and GP fuel tanks is 150 L; PROXIMA HS offers 180 L.
The innovations pay attention also to the ergonomics and comfort of the tractor user. The cabin is still spacious, the operator uses a new dashboard, the layout of lamps was adjusted in order to optimize the illuminated area while working at night. The tractors are equipped with bigger rear mirrors, which allows the operator to have a better view of the situation around the tractor. Production of the PROXIMA range is going to be launched at the turn of 2016/2017. Customers can already start ordering the innovated tractors with all authorized ZETOR dealers right now. The first tractors shall be delivered to the clients in early 2017.
The new PROXIMA model range was launched in Poland on the occasion of introducing new registered office of ZETOR POLSKA Sp. z o.o. Company. The visitors were entertained by interesting accompanying program which took them through the 70-year history of the ZETOR brand and presented current direction of the brand and its future plans.

Tractor presentation, the possibility of their operation testing right on the spot, service utilities, spare parts warehouse, tractor warehouse as well as showroom size , all of these in one place – this is what allows us to take 100 % care of our customers and partners and present the ZETOR brand in all aspects in just the way that customers like," says Arkadiusz Fuled, ZETOR POLSKA Sp. z o.o. Director.
The area amounting to 3 ha houses not only space for stocking new tractors but also a showroom where customers can learn about the history of the brand and see both current and historical tractors. Available is also outdoor track and testing area to test individual tractors. The office area includes several meeting rooms as well as service utilities and spare parts warehouse. The premises include also sales area for spare parts and promotional items from ZETOR portfolio. Both the visitors and the staff have the comfort of parking their cars right in front of the building in a large carpark.
