NFPA Hosting Webinar on Preventing Leaks in Hydraulic Systems

NFPA will host a webinar on July 19 focused on the proper design of leak-free hydraulic systems.

Designers of hydraulic systems will have the opportunity to learn how to design safe, reliable and efficient hydraulics from a leading expert at the next National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) Educational webinar, to be held on July 19, 2012 (Thursday) starting at 2:00 p.m. Eastern/1:00 p.m. Central.

Preventing leakage in hydraulic systems

Presenter: Phil Robinson, Consultant, Parker Hannifin Corp.

External leakage in hydraulic systems represents not only fluid loss, with its attendant costs and safety and environmental concerns, but energy loss as well. Reliable sealing and proper system design can prevent this damaging leakage and improve the safety, efficiency and reliability of the hydraulic system. The presenter will share how ISO and NFPA standards, particularly NFPA/T2.24.2, can help people to design, build and maintain leak-free hydraulic systems.

The webinars are free to employees of NFPA members. For those from companies that are not members of NFPA, there is a $50 charge per webinar.

Visit NFPA's website for more information and to register for the webinar.
