In August 2013, Graco Inc. launched the Dyna-Star HP and HF 24VDC Electric Lubrication Pumps and Accessories. The company now has a new accessory to offer as part of the Dyna-Star product family, the Auto Fill Shut Off accessory for Dyna-Star HP pump modules.
This is a simple mechanical device which automatically shuts off the fill path to the Graco reservoir enabling clean and precise refilling. Mining regulations in various parts of the world require an auto fill shut off to be used in order to eliminate messy overfilling which can contaminate the environment. This solution is purely mechanical with no electrical requirements which also satisfies some mining regulations requiring the equipment to be switched off during fluid refilling. However, if an electric full signal is required or desired, a proximity switch can be added for a full electronic signal.

Graco has also added a new in-line filter assembly with a 400 micron mesh to ensure grease is free of larger particle contamination. Use it while refilling and use it between the pump and metering devices to keep systems running smoothly.
