Webtec unveils its FlowHUB ViscoCorrect, a hydraulic flow monitoring device with integral temperature measurement and large digital display, now for use on oils, water and water-based fluids.
- Can be set up easily for use on water, biodegradable (water based) fluids as well as conventional hydraulic and lubrication oils at the touch of a button
- Well suited for condition monitoring, test stands and closed loop control applications in both fluid power and lubrication systems
- Measures and displays flow and temperature readings, as well as switch and transmit flow values
- Provides multiple capabilities in single device, reducing costs and wiring requirements
- Alarms and shut-offs can be triggered, and real-time values transmitted to PLC using just one unit, instead of up to six discreet hydraulic components which might have been required conventionally
- Available in two ranges, 8 and 64 gpm (30.3 and 242.3 lpm)
- Suitable for water or hydraulic oil up to a pressure of 6,000 psi (413.7 bar) and fluid temperature of 41-194 F (5-90 C)
- Two programmable switched outputs available
- Designed for permanent installation with few wearing parts to ensure long operating life
- Can be mounted in any orientation
- No lengths of straight tube are needed since unit has built-in flow conditioning
- Accuracy is better than 5%, while repeatability is better than 1%
- Response time is almost immediate at 50 ms
- Compact yet rugged design
- Protection rating of IP64
- Supplied with complete fitted adaptors (BSP or JIC male)
- Device allows unmeasured reverse flow if needed
