Bosch Rexroth increases the effectiveness of the mobile excavator’s travel drive with the A24VG high-pressure double pump with on-board electronics.

  • Includes shift-on-fly gearshift and software-based controls for 10% increase in travel drive effectiveness
  • Improvements to slewing drive enable potential to downsize diesel engine to help reduce emissions
  • Features combination of open and closed circuits
  • On-board electronics (OBE) control travel and slew drive, both of which are operated in a closed circuit
  • Throttling losses are avoided due to pressure levels in the individual circuits being separate from one another 
  • Shift-on-fly solution uses lighter, smaller components and helps minimizes mechanical friction in the transmission
