Renault Trucks Exhibiting Electric Trucks at IAA 2018

Renault Trucks will exclusively present its new 100% electric ZE range at the next IAA trade show in Hannover, from September 20-27, 2018. On its 1,700 m² stand, the French carmaker will also display vehicles from its Euro 6 range, as well as its latest research and development. 

Renault Trucks will present seven vehicles at its stand in Hall 17 Stand 21.

A pioneer in the field of electromobility, Renault Trucks has just announced the sale of its second generation of 100% electric vehicles. Trucks destined for urban use, visitors to the IAA 2018 show will be able to discover exclusively on the Renault Trucks stand since the manufacturer will be displaying a Master ZE and a D Wide ZE equipped with a garbage dumpster. 

If for Renault Trucks electromobility has emerged very early as the answer to the problem of air quality and noise pollution in the city, with regard to long-distance road transport, the French manufacturer is convinced that diesel will remain for many years still the dominant energy. This is why Renault Trucks is continuing its research to improve the energy efficiency of diesel trucks and will unveil at IAA the details of its research project FALCON - Flexible & Aerodynamic Truck for Low CONsumption. The T High Renault Sport Racing model, of which only 100 will be produced.

Motorsport enthusiasts will have the pleasure of discovering on the Renault Trucks stand its latest limited edition, the T High Renault Sport Racing, which will be marketed in September 2018 in only 100 copies. This sporty-looking vehicle sports the Sirius yellow paint, the iconic colors of the Renault Sport Racing Formulas 1 and a yellow and black checkerboard, the graphic identity of the Renault Sport models. Finally, thrill seekers can experience the rally-raid driving a Renault Trucks K, thanks to two new driving simulators, equipped with virtual reality helmets and seats mounted on cylinders.

• T High 520 Maxispace, 4x2 tractor, equipped with a Euro 6 engine of 13 L.
• T 460 Sleeper Cab, 6x2 carrier, equipped with a Euro 6 engine of 11 L.
• C 480 Optitrack + 4x2, equipped with a Euro 6 engine of 13 L.
