CNH Industrial executives Jim Walker, Vice President Case IH Agriculture North America, and Scott Harris, Vice President CASE Construction Equipment North America, were both named to key positions within the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). AEM is a trade body dedicated to supporting equipment manufacturers in the agriculture, construction, forestry, mining and utility sectors.
Walker was elected as an AEM Officer to the Vice Chair position. Walker was first elected to the AEM board in 2013 and has since served in various positions on both the Board and Agriculture Equipment Sector Board.
Harris was re-elected as a Director on the Construction Equipment Sector Board. Harris was first elected in July 2016.
Bret Lieberman, Vice President of New Holland Agriculture, a global CNH Industrial brand, is currently serving as a Director on the Agriculture Equipment Sector Board. Sector board directors serve 2-year terms.
AEM selects senior executives from member companies to serve as Directors and Officers who will then work on behalf of all of its members’ companies. The AEM board members provide strategic direction and guidance for the association’s business development initiatives in areas including public policy, market data, and exhibitions, as well as technical, safety and regulatory issues and education/training.
“At AEM, we benefit from the support of our member companies and the dedication of their representations who serve in AEM leadership roles,” says Dennis Slater, AEM President. “They help ensure association programs continue to meet member and industry needs, helping them succeed in the changing business environments of the future, and we appreciate their knowledge and participation.”
AEM membership comprises more than 950 companies with headquarters in Milwaukee, WI, and has offices in Washington, D.C.; Ottawa, Canada; and Beijing, China.
