DOE Study Highlights Use of Fuel Cells by U.S. Companies

A recent DOE study highlights how companies such as Coca-Cola and Whole Foods are using fuel cells in their business operations.

The U.S. Department of Energy's report "Business Case for Fuel Cells 2011" shows how Amercian companies are using fuel cells in their business operations. 

Thirty-four companies, including Coca-Cola and Whole Foods Market, are featured. The report shows how companies have implemented the use of fuel cells to reach sustainability goals and save on electricity costs. 

Each company uses fuel cells in various ways, such as in forklifts or for facility heat and power systems. The companies' methods of fuel cell implementation are also highlighted in the report.
