APEM Inc. launches the XD Series joystick, a multi-axis Hand Grip joystick specifically engineered for demanding vehicle applications.

Featuring non-contacting Hall effect technology to provide up to 10 million operations
Compact yet highly reliable
Measures just 60 mm (2.4 in.) below panel
Withstands horizontal loads up to 400 lbs.-ft. (542.3 Nm)
Utilizes all-metal construction as well as optimized wall thickness and diameter of lever for durability
Offers mechanical integrity of heavy-duty joysticks much larger in size
Handle utilizes uni-body construction with modular inserts to provide design flexibility, allowing customers to purchase base joysticks which can be configured as required
Insert options include index trigger switch, operator presence paddle and customizable faceplate
One-piece handle limits ingress points and enables IP67 above-panel environmental sealing
Provides SAE CANbus J1939-71 outputs
All axis and button data are delivered on CAN 2.0B compliant physical interface
Two additional signals allow configuration of controller Source Address
Accommodates 6-35V DC power supply
Operates between -40 and 85 C (-40-185 F)
