ifm efector inc., introduces the ecomat Mobile Basic Line, a 3-piece modular control platform for mobile vehicles. Designed for easy wiring, simple installation and reduction of space needed for visualization on a dashboard, the Basic Line includes three compact units – a controller, a relay and a display.
Controller
- Compact module with 32-bit processing power and 2 CAN-bus ports
- Replaces conventional relay logic and complex process controllers
- Electronics integrated into compact, plastic housing that provides connections for inputs and outputs, communication and programming
- Status LED indicates current operating status
- Programmable to IEC 61131-3 with CoDeSys software that supports all common CoDeSys programming languages
- Structured function libraries are available for communication and special unit functions
- Two CAN-bus ports interface to ISO 11898 standard, and supports CANopen and J1939 protocol
Relay
- Simplifies wiring and battery connection and eliminates external terminals
- Expandable and able to streamline wiring
- Becomes a decentralized “control room” for mobile applications
- Iinstalls in areas with limited mounting space
- Features locations for automotive ISO relays
- 2.8 mm spring contacts allow use of solid state and logic relays with diagnostic capability
- Offers ten locations for automotive fuses to protect individual load circuits
- Load currents allow distribution via a common power rail and additional star points
- Integrated screw terminals enable simple connection to battery cables
Display
- Full-color, high-resolution display that can replace multiple gauges on a vehicle dashboard
- Provides resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and color depth up to 256 colors
- Integrated 32-bit processor tailors to any application
- Status LED indicates current operating status
- Programmable to IEC 61131-3 with CoDeSys software that supports all common CoDeSys programming languages
- Structured function libraries are available for communication and special unit functions
- Graphic elements are created and animated via integrated visualization
- CAN interface to ISO 11898 exchanges data between connected controller, decentralised input/output modules or engine controller
- Supports CANopen and J1939 protocol
- Enables building of networks via decentralized input/output modules
