STW interACT V-Family of HMI displays

Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) introduces its intelligent interACT V-family of HMI displays for mobile applications.

• Features support for safety-orientated use cases in accordance with SIL2
• Range of different sizes available, as well as sophisticated toolchain for graphic programming
• Available models include VSX-7W with 7-inch screen in 15:9 format, VSX-8W with 8-inch screen in 15:9 format, VSX-10W with 10-inch screen in 15:9 format and VSX-12 with 12-inch screen in 4:3 format
• High durability of housing, resistance of electronics against electromagnetic influences and a touchscreen in GFG (Glass-Film-Glass) technology ensure reliability in harsh operating conditions
• Resistive touchscreen technology enables use even when gloves are worn or if hands are wet
• MTTF (Mean Time To Failure) is 100,000 hours
• Light intensity of 1,000 cd/m² guarantees good legibility in sunlight for outdoor use
• Panel-Mount and VESA-Mount versions are supported for flexible installation in operator cab
• Based on same Cortex A9 DualCore processor architecture and programmable with DevKit development and support tool
• DevKit offers over 35 predefined widgets, of which the majority includes SIL2 support
• Programming software includes large number of communication protocols, such as STW’s KEFEX, enabling ESX controls to be configured or updated
• Ethernet, CAN and analog video interfaces are available in all models
• Plug-in boards allow nearly unlimited extension of functionality
• DevKit can be used both for graphic design, as well as for communications and control tasks
• Graphic design can also be seamlessly transferred onto iOS or Android platforms
