Bergstrom Inc., a leader in the design and supply of climate systems to the commercial vehicle industry, announces the promotion of two industry veterans – Bill Gordon and David Stoos.

Bill Gordon has been appointed to the role of Division President of Bergstrom Parts LLC. In this newly created role, Gordon will oversee management of all Bergstrom Parts in North America as well as the U.S. distribution of the company’s international aftermarket A/C parts.

“The creation of this position is to further strengthen the coordination of Bergstrom Parts and Bergstrom China and to leverage the strengths of both entities in order to grow this very important part of our company,” says Jack Shaffer, President and CEO of Bergstrom Inc. “Bill has more than three decades of experience in the trucking industry, during which he has created a valuable network of relationships. We’re lucky to have him as part of our team.”

A 30-year veteran of the industry, Gordon was previously Global Vice President of Truck Sales as well as VP Aftermarket and NITE Sales. Before joining Bergstrom, he was with Sears Manufacturing in Davenport, IA where he was Director of Sales.

Along with his work experience, Gordon is a member of the Maintenance Council/American Trucking Association, Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) and Antique Outboard Motor Club (AOMC). He is also former Chairman of the Heavy Duty Marketing and Sales Forum.

In addition, David Stoos has been named Director of New Business at Bergstrom Inc. As part of this new role he will be concentrating on growing sales for Bergstrom Standard Products and Solar.

For the past seven years, Stoos was Regional Manager at Bergstrom Inc., promoting HVAC and climate solutions to off-road fleets and OEMs. He was previously with Remy Inc. and General Motors Service Parts.

"Dave is a talented salesman who recognizes the huge opportunities in the marketplace and will help continue to grow this company,” says Shaffer.
