In this episode of OEM Industry Update, Mike Terzo, CEO and CTO of Terzo Power Systems, discusses the benefits of electrifying hydraulic systems in off-highway equipment. The company’s Hydrapulse technology enables this by replacing inefficient hydraulic valves with a system comprised of motor control electronics, a motor and a hydraulic pump which can perform several fluid power functions for a machine. Doing so allows several benefits to be achieved including improved efficiency as well as component size and weight reductions.

Our interview with Mike Terzo is available in video format, as well.
