FPT Industrial recently unveiled several powertrain innovations at its Tech Day 2018.
Among the debuts was the Cursor X, a concept for future powertrain technologies “designed for Planet Earth.”
The Cursor X is adaptable to customers’ individual needs and can be based on natural gas, hydrogen fuel cell or battery-stored energy.
For electric propulsion, FPT introduced its E-Axle which transfers power and torque to the wheels, delivering power up to 250 kW and 98% efficiency.
FPT also debuted its hydrogen fuel cell powertrain featuring smart management and controls to provide zero-emission operation and up to 50% powertrain efficiency.
