Dana Incorporated announces the launch of the new Spicer D172 Series heavy-duty tandem axle for construction, heavy-haul, and severe service applications.

  • Maximizes fleet uptime with lightweight but durable, reliable, and efficient product offering 
  • More than 60 lbs. (27.2 kg) lighter than existing D170 series tandem axles
  • Offers broad range of gear ratios, from 3.07-6.14
  • Wide-face, High-Power Density AdvanTEK gearing maximizes strength while reducing weight
  • Reliable, passive lube management system requires less lube while using patented meter to optimize amount of lube flow to high-efficiency bearings
