Dana Incorporated has launched its Spicer 175 Series single drive axle, offering the industry's lowest numeric gear ratio, 1.95:1, for optimum engine downspeeding.

  • Well suited for European heavy-duty vehicles and for various global applications, including North American linehaul trucks
  • Supported by a host of performance-optimizing features, including differential case design with premium integrated ring gear for reduced weight and oil churning losses, and precision AdvanTEK gearing for improved efficiency
  • Weighs 27 kg (59.5 lbs.) less than previous products
  • Maximizes freight tonnes per kilometer and is approved for up to 52 tonnes gross combination weight rating
  • Offers broad range of gear ratios, from 1.95:1 to 3.42:1
  • Features Spicer High-Power Density AdvanTEK technology to support engines up to 600 hp (447.4 kW) and 2,750 Nm (2028.3 lbs.-ft.) of torque
  • Includes high-strength pinion bearings which allow for greater lifespan under heavy loads
  • Autonomous lube management system requires less lube while utilizing patent-pending meter to optimize amount of lube flow to high-efficiency bearings
  • Can be paired with Spicer SPL 250 and 350 driveshafts which are designed to meet durability requirements for faster axle ratios and lower engine speeds
  • Spicer Compact Series Plus 2060 and 2065 driveshafts are available for use with and feature weight reduction of up to 10% and potential to increase life of the driveshaft by as much as 25%
