Dana Incorporated announces the introduction of its Spicer Electrified e-Axle for off-highway vehicles.
- Enables electrified propulsion within established vehicle architectures
- Combines Dana’s heavy axle design with high-efficiency TM4 SUMO HP motor/generator and inverter combination for medium-sized mining trucks, medium-sized load haul dumpers, and large lift trucks
- Supplies 139 kW (189 hp) of continuous power and 193 kW (262 hp) at peak power
- Motor/generator and inverter are joined at center housing of axle to provide needed torque and efficiency within space typically allotted for internal-combustion engine and transmission
