J.W. Winco Inc. now offers series GN 743.7 Brass Fluid Level Sight Glasses.

  • RoHS-compliant
  • Features brass body, natural glass, heat-resistant technopolymer plastic reflector, and seal of NBR rubber (Perbunan)
  • Conical thread makes metallic seal possible
  • When male thread is tightened, it wedges itself within appropriate female thread
  • Temperature resistant to 230 F (110 C)
  • Can be fastened in by hand where male thread has same thread diameter as female thread
  • Tightening by means of a tool increases length of engagement and seals screw connection
  • A sealant (fibrous or teflon band) can also be used
  • Thread is "roughened," to prevent sealant from shifting during fastening
  • Appropriate for use on pressurized oil tanks
