Rota Engineering Ltd. announces its CANbus sensors have achieved 200V/m by an independent third party test house. As the Internet of Things (IoT) grows, the need and use of sensors has been expanding exponentially. The new challenge is for position sensors to meet even more stringent parameters for on-the-road vehicles. To this end, one the European standards for these vehicles, ECE-R10, has been achieved which opens up a whole new host of applications such as autonomous vehicle steering, refuse truck automation, etc.

Rota Engineering designs and manufactures linear transducers for tough applications where robustness is required. Transducers can be designed up to 130 ft. in length, for use 20,000 ft. below the surface of the ocean, for hazardous environments and have voltage, current, PWM, ISOBUS and CANbus/CANopen output options.
