Curtiss-Wright’s Industrial Division announces the launch of the SRH76x to join the extensive range of Penny & Giles Hall-effect rotary sensors.

  • Designed with non-contacting Hall-effect technology, offering long-life
  • Provides high-performance measurement with two independent and electrically-isolated outputs
  • Contained in zinc-aluminum alloy body with engineered polymer bearings and fully sealed electronics
  • Well suited for use in harsh on- and off-highway vehicle environments
  • Shaft assembly is mechanically isolated from fully sealed electronics via solid metal bulkhead, offering advantage of a >20 million operations shaft seal and bearing life
  • Includes IP68(2M) and IP69K sealing
  • Features improved sensor integrity and exceptional reliability
  • Choice of working angles from 20-360 degrees providing optimized 12-bit resolution and full-scale output signal over working angle for maximum output sensitivity and resolution
  • Operates directly from 12 or 24V DC battery systems with internal circuitry providing transient protection to ISO7637 test pulse 1-5
  • Dual redundancy for safety-rated systems ISO11452, IEC61508
  • Industry standard M12 connector interface, M6 mounting holes
  • 100V/m EMC immunity
  • <+/-0.4% Linearity
  • <1mV rms output noise
  • Operating temperature from -40-85 C (SAE J1455 [-40-185 F])
  • 2KG shaft load capability
  • 2,500g shock/impact resistance
  • >20 million operations of 150 degree sweep
  • MTTFd >150 years
