Hirschmann Automation and Control adds the rotary encoder gSENS DWG 20 to its product portfolio. With this high resolution optical absolute value sensor, with aluminum housing and a protection class of IP67, mechanical angle settings can be converted to digital signals and forwarded to the control system via the CANopen interface. This makes the gSENS DWG 20 particularly suitable for use in all vehicles with a turnable superstructure.
