SUCO Pressure Switches PLUS with NAMUR Resistor

Under the brand name 'Pressure switches PLUS', SUCO offers the second generation of its integrated pressure switches.

• PLUS stands for additional electronic functions that can be integrated as needed to meet customer or application requirements 
• Additional functions include NAMUR diagnostic function, protective function via varistor, NTC/PTC thermistor or LED stating switching status
• Features high IP protection class (IP67 to IP6K9K)
• Resistor circuit according to NAMUR offers additional diagnostic function (fail-safe) with short-circuit and cable break detection
• According to DIN EN 60947-5-6 (VDE 0660 part 212), NAMUR is a switching contact with two resistors that can act as a normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) contact
• Additional wiring makes it possible to query not only the states ON and OFF, but also a line break (LB) or short circuit (SC) 
• Typical current thresholds according to NAMUR are 1.2 mA for the off state and 2.1 mA for the on state
• Potential-free and supplied directly via measuring circuit (operating current IB)
• Live parts are electrically isolated from housing, i.e. there is no electrical connection between switching contact and housing
• Current level is permanently present at output of pressure switch, irrespective of whether the contact is activated or not, due to resistor circuitry
