Mark Larranaga, Construction Software Business Development Manager for Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS), will speak at the Performance Excellence for Construction and Engineering Conference in Atlanta, addressing the impact of automation, cloud-based software and remote monitoring technology on the construction industry.
“Machine automation, fleet management and cloud-based software solutions are becoming an integral part of today’s digital job site and it is important for today’s professionals to understand the opportunities that exist,” Larranaga says.
“The use of construction project management systems to continuously monitor the job site for compliance with costs, schedules, material placements and quality, technical performances and safety are on the rise. These advances will reduce construction time by more effectively orchestrating and closely monitoring the use of labor, equipment and materials on the job site.”
Larranaga says, “Technology is quickly becoming embedded in every facet of the construction industry making it imperative for today’s construction professionals and engineers to keep up to date on technological advances in order to maximize the efficiencies of their operations.”
The session, “Job site management in the cloud,” is scheduled for July 25 at 1:15 pm at the W Atlanta-Downtown hotel. Topcon is also an exhibitor of the two-day event. More information on the conference is available at www.PEXConstructionEngineering.com.
