Appareo AT-130 Cellular Asset Tracker for Off-Highway Equipment

Appareo has released the AT-130, a compact and ruggedly designed asset tracker for off-highway equipment. The initial launch is with partner Razor Tracking, a software developer for fleet tracking and operations management.

• IP69K rating certifies the device’s ability to withstand an 80 C (176 F) pressure wash at close distance
• Operating temperature range of -40-70 C (-40-158 F)
• Includes cellular and GPS capabilities to provide high-performance positioning and motion-sensing
• Battery life is impacted by frequency with which the device is required to report its position
• Proprietary Appareo motion sensing algorithms ensure that motion-based reporting is done based on true machinery repositioning, helping extend battery life and reduce nuisance alarms when equipment doesn’t truly relocate 
• Communication interface based on common standards and industry practices, easing integration into tracking systems or manufacturer backend
• Razor Tracking provided initial logistics software and laid groundwork for future logistic integrations
