Brokk remote-controlled demolition machine going into battle on National Geographic Channel

The Brokk 100 remote-controlled demolition machine will participate in a head-to-head battle on National Geographic Channel's "Showdown of the Unbeatables."

The National Geographic Channel’s “Showdown of the Unbeatables” will feature the compact Brokk 100 remote-controlled demolition machine in a head-to-head battle with man in a test of strength, agility and precision. The show will air Friday, April 11, 2014 at 9 and 11 p.m. EST. Click here to view a clip from the show. The National Geographic Channel describes the show as a weekly contest in which “…the very best American companies do battle with their prize products.”

The Brokk 100, Brokk’s second smallest remote-controlled demolition robot, weighs just 2,183 lbs., and it is less than 4 ft. tall by 2-1/2 ft. wide. Operators can easily maneuver the machine through buildings, confined spaces and openings as narrow as 31 in. Its three-piece arm can reach as far as 12.1 ft. and as high as 14.1 ft., and be used with a variety of attachments such as breakers, grapples and scabblers. The unit is powered by a 20 hp, 32-amp motor for safe, emissions-free operation in enclosed areas. The Brokk 100 delivers tremendous force for a variety of applications.
